Credit Recovery
Students can work online from home at their own pace to complete courses and earn the credits they need. As soon as the student completes a course the student earns their credits and can move on to the next course. This is a great program to help students graduate on time that have fallen behind or students who weren’t able to graduate on time, but still want their High School Diploma.

Scholars retake courses through the online platform: Edgenuity to make up credits (D’s & F’s) on their transcripts.

The Edgenuity platform grades 98% of the work completed. On rare occasions (essays, etc) Mr. Higgins will grade assignments. See Grading Scale below.

The Edgenuity platform updates grades immediately after completion of an assignment/quiz/essay/test. Students and parents have access to up-to-date grades in edgenuity.

Scholars have unlimited attempts to complete assignment/quiz/essay/test. Students are given the opportunity to master content after receiving feedback (below 70%).

Success would look like students finishing their required Edgenuity course(s) and having those grades updated on your transcripts.

Ask Mr. Higgins for help. The Edgenuity platform offers numerous ways to receive help for their online courses.

Make sure to continue working on your Edgenuity course even if absent from school since it is accessible via the internet. Always try and finish your weekly goals!
